LIVE BHARATH : Hyderabad :Force 2 has got bigger opening and is likely to make better collection than Tum Bin 2 at Indian box office on opening day.
Tum Bin 2 and Force 2 are sequels of hit movies and the success of the prequels had created lot of hype for both the films.
Publicity for both film quite impressive and their promos had also garnered lot of public attention for the movies. Both were expected to get good opening at the box office.
The Sonakshi Sinha and John Abraham-starrer was released in over 1800 screens across the domestic market today and its screen count is bigger than that of Tum Bin 2.
Force 2 opened to an average response in both single screens and multiplexes in the morning shows and its average occupancy ranged between 15 to 20 percent.
However, the Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati-starrer has also opened to sluggish response in the morning shows and its average occupancy ranged between 10 to 15 percent in both single screens. Tum Bin 2 has garnered mixed talk from the audience and the word of mouth may take a toll on its business in evening shows.
A small budget of Rs 12 crore, romantic film from T Series has already recovered a substantial chunk of its costs from the sale of its music and digital rights. As per early trends,
On the other hand, the last week’s release Rock On 2 was a victim of the demonetisation and trade analysts from B-Town were bit sceptical about its effect on these new releases.
However the early trends show that the effect of the demonetisation is less on Force 2 and Tum Bin 2, when compared to Rock On 2.
